Good weekend to y'all!
Just writing this to say a massive thanks to everyone that turned up for the JD73 gig at Royal Festival Hall last night. The atmosphere was electric throughout and the vibe from the audience was inspiring and really spurned us on to play a great show. It really means a lot to feel the love in such a big way from a crowd and the gig will be etched in our memories for years to come as one of those magical moments that only happen once in a while. Still buzzing from it all! So THANK YOU ALL for your support!
Ill keep everyone posted on future shows here and abroad. If you want to pick up a copy of the album please follow these links.

The album Zeros and Ones is a digital only release but there is a very limited number of physical copies left if you email me on jazzdoctor73@gmail.com, ill try my best to send you one out!
If enough people mail me ill hopefully be able to persuade the label to press some more!!
Ill be posting video footage from last night over the next week for those that couldnt make it down and also for those that are feeling a little nostalgic already!
Big thanks to Dennis who'd waited all day to see us play and all those that came up at the end as well for a chat.
Finally a huge thanks to Grieg, Pat and Johnny for being the funk gods that they are!
All the best

Great computer all round. The glossy screen is a none issue for me and reflections are hardly noticeable in any condition, its whisper quiet, built like a tank, the new trackpad is great and i dont know what peeps are moaning about!!!

JD73's gig at London Jazz Festival
Coming up on 21st November 2008 ill be playing with my Electric Funk quartet at the Royal Festival Hall (Clore Ballroom) as part of the 2008 London Jazz Festival Lineup. This is a FREE gig and its an early doors gig (6pm until 7pm) before the Matthew Herbert Big Band hits the stage at 730. Hope you can make it down. Ill be playing material from my Zeros and Ones album (out now on itunes/ropeadope) and a few other sneaky bits as well. The band will be myself on Rhodes, Moogs, Nord and Korg, Pat Illingworth on drums, Greig Robinson on bass and Johnny Heyes on guitar and its gonna be a party!!
Hope to see you there...
