Im getting closer to finishing the album 'SuperSexy' now. I always make the mistake of saying when its going to be finished (i said end of Feb) but as i now remember from making Zeros and Ones, its something that us music makers should never do unless a deadline has been set by a label. So im not going to say when but it will be soon!
Im currently on with a track called 'Think Twice' featuring the vocal talents of Ella May who's currently on tour in the states fronting the live show with Nightmares On Wax. The track is very Quincy Jones esque. Think 'The Dude' meets 'Off the Wall' meets 'The Brothers Johnson' meets lots more!
Ive also dropped some Rhodes solos in the last week (as in dropped on the track not got rid of!)
They always seem to come to me when im half asleep or exhausted so i know now that if im feeling like crap its the best time to do a solo..Think its something to do with not being too aware of your surroundings or something along those lines!
So its all coming together and sounding bigger and better than i ever imagined.. its just important that i get it right so im gonna take my time until its done.
